Reflection of 2022

Kia Ora my bloggers

This year has been a whole heap of craziness, but my favorite part of the year was the mud run I made a new friend, his name is Perdo  cause we had to be in buddy’s and along the rough, slippery mud we were waiting for each other too. I really enjoyed doing art cause we did lots of work on it my favorite art piece was the this Pasifika art pattern from this Samoan artist named Fatu Feu’u cause I love doing Pacific art cause its one of my hobby s. My most remember event was athletics because my house group Tui won the most races and I was so happy that in high jump I got over 1 metre but I failed 1.1 metre but I tried at least but I landed on the grass like in the air. I learn’t more math in my senior year cause we got home work for the whole year across it’s annoying aye. One of my responsibility’s was sports room on Thursdays only.

I am proud this and being a year 6.

The Museum Trip Day

Hello bloggers

On Tuesday, the Te Waka Ako Syndicate went to the Auckland Museum. The reason why we went to the museum was to recap about volcanoes because that was our topic last term. We saw the Auckland Volcano room that had lots of facts and the house felt like an actual volcano hitting the house because the ground shook a lot.  What happened in the museum was that we looked through a pasifika room, volcano room and a volcano classroom.

Have you been to the Museum and if you have please comment what you found out.

Malo lelei bloggers!

Last week the year 6 students went to camp from may 9th to 13th at Moirs Point Camp. On camp our we went to a life guarded beach, it had rips and big waves. The most challenging part of the beach was that our teacher on camp told us to run and climb up the very big sand dune. It was so hard, I tried to think smart. So my strategy was to go and put my foot in the hole that my friends made with their foot. After we climbed the sand dune my friend was struggling with his bag so wanted to help him so I took his bag so he wouldn’t struggle.

The next day to was so fun we went kayaking and canoeing but I fell out of my kayak even tho I said I was jack sparrow but me and my friend fell out of the kayak because we were fake fighting to see who was the better jack. Kayaking was so fun that I actually made my own boat flip.

Last day was the most challenged because had to go to the mangroves and pick those plant things.
